On June 10th The Rotary Club of Prince Albert had some wonderful presentations from students the club has sponsored in some great leadership projects this year.

We heard from, Jarica Gooding (Grade 11, Carlton) and Sanjana Brijlall (Grade 9, Carlton) who were chosen from the Model United Nations event in Prince Albert that had 11 delegations from Carlton, St, Mary and Shellbrook that took place in March at Carlton. They also represented the Rotary Club of Prince Albert at the District MUNA event in Winnipeg along with 72 other student delegations from Manitoba, Ontario, Saskatchewan and Minnesota. They were accompanied by their teacher, Kelly Klassen, who was the advisor to the Model United Nations at Carlton.

We also heard from Emma Young (Grade 11, St. Mary) who attended the National Rotary Adventure in Citizenship event in Ottawa in May along with 150 other Rotary sponsored students from across Canada. She visited Parliament, a Canadian Citizenship ceremony as well as various museums and historic sites in Ottawa.

It's very exciting for our club to hear about the achievements of these young leaders of tomorrow - thanks everyone for your hard work and great reports!
